In order to match the development of counseling programs in LTS, "Companion LeShalom Centre” was established in 2018, located at the center of Kowloon. The center provides a practicum platform for students to deepen their learning through clinical supervision and internships, to achieve the goal of combining knowledge and practice. In addition, the centre renders also support to students, alumni, pastors, and believers in personal and psycho-spiritual growth, strengthening the church’s pastoral care and counseling ministry.

Companion LeShalom Centre

During the study period, students could use different services of the centre which include personal growth counseling, training, lectures, supervision, etc. (Companion LeShalom Centre) at a special discount.

Students who have graduated from Higher Diploma in Christian Counseling (Companion counseling) can:

• Participate in the online companion caring program to serve brothers and sisters in need with companion care and prayers.
• Apply to be a group instructor for the program camp or centre training (must pass the interview and/or have finished the group instructor training held by the centre) to practice what has been learned.
• Apply to be in the volunteer team of the centre

Professional Counseling Graduates

Students who have graduated with professional counseling (graduates who have completed Phase three of the professional counseling internships program) can

• Apply to participate in the program of the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Internship or Clinical Internship Certificate (must pass an interview), and then continue to practice what has been learned as a first-level counselor in the centre.
• Apply to be a group instructor for the program camp or centre training (must pass the interview and accept the group instructor training held by the centre) to practice what has been learned
• Apply to be in the volunteer team of the centre
