Memorial Service of Alumnus Reverend Victor Wen-jui TSU
Alumnus Rev. Victor Wen-jui TSU (graduated in 1952) passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025 at Princess Margaret Hospital at a ripe old age of 99.
Rev. Tsu enrolled LTS as a regular student in autumn 1948 and relocated to Hong Kong with the faculty at the end of that year. After graduating in 1952, he was called to serve refugees from mainland China in Tung Shan Li, Kowloon Tong. In his later years, he served as an advisory pastor at the ELCHK Truth Lutheran Church.
Throughout his life, Rev. Tsu served the community with love and sincerity. Even with limited mobility in his advanced years, he attended our anniversary celebrations annually, demonstrating his enduring love for the Lord, his fellow people, and his alma mater. Rev. Tsu even participated in the body donation program of the University of Hong Kong, selflessly donated his body for medical education.
As to gather together to commemorate him, a memorial service will be held on Friday night at 7:30p.m. on March 21 at the ELCHK Truth Lutheran Church (50 Waterloo Road, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon). We extend our deepest condolences and pray that God’s comfort and peace be with his family.
