Intercultural Study
Overview
Focusing on intercultural exchange is one of the prominent features of our Seminary. Our teachers and students come from various regions, including Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas. Thus, our classroom learning and campus life provide an ideal setting for intercultural interactions. Through learning together and daily life, students know more about diverse cultures and history of various countries as well as the work of our Lord in different places. These also help to cultivate an ecumenical spirit among students.
Many of our programs welcome overseas students. We also provide a 6-month “Intercultural Study Program” for those overseas students interested in this aspect. Meanwhile, we have the course “Cultural Exploration and Mission” for local students, including cross-cultural learning experiences outside Hong Kong. We also provide some exchange opportunities with overseas seminaries and universities. The exchange lasts for at least one semester, allowing our students to enrich their intercultural experience.
