Program Goals
The Master of Arts in Theology degree program is to equip students to become competent in leadership and effective in Christian witnessing. The program aims:
- To provide a foundational training in knowledge and understanding in the Scriptures, theologies, church histories and ministerial skills;
- To provide a stimulating environment for faith development and critical reflection;
- To help students develop a wide range of intellectual and practical capacities in preparing for future ministry or service.
Admission Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an institution recognized by LTS; and
- Baptized Christian; and
- Applicants should have the interests, aptitudes, and personal qualities necessary for this program; and
- The ability to engage in graduate-level study for academic pursuits and personal development.
Further Study
A Master of Arts in Theology degree holder can continue to study for the Master of Arts in specific emphasis / Master of Divinity programs at LTS and credits can be exempted.
